Standing on its own, or accompanying a dish, the perfect cocktail is versatile and a welcome addition to any food trip. GRID x Tanduay: Cocktail Culture is a series following Dondz Bolante around the Philippines as he crafts cocktails inspired by the flavors of its different cities.

Nobody leaves Pampanga without giving up a notch on their belt. The “culinary capital of the Philippines” has been serving up the country’s favorites for decades, dishing out the hearty, the sweet, and the savory. Of course, a visit is never complete without stocking up on these delights; a remembrance that will last way past your trip.

This time, Dondz crafts a tart doozy to balance these rich kapangpangan flavors. A citrusy delight fashioned to refresh you for the next course. And the next, and the next. Drink, eat, repeat.
