Narvacan Outdoor Adventure Hub
Outdoor Adventure Hub
Whether your idea of adventure takes you to the mountains, the sea, or up in the air, NOAH’s got every terrain covered for your insatiable thirst for the outdoors.
When you’ve got a mountain that overlooks the ocean against a 3-kilometer stretch of sand, there’s no mistaking that such terrain is the perfect home for adventure. Narvacan Outdoor Adventure Hub (or NOAH) was designed to best enjoy the elements and range of terrain that Ilocos Sur has to offer, the myriad of activities being served up in this adventure camp will surely satisfy that itchy craving for an outdoor adventure.
The country’s first full-scale Via Ferrata completely elevates your understanding of mountain climbing. Embarking on a 250-meter cable-safety protected trek leads to a 100-feet vertical section of adobe rock. Probably not for the fainthearted and those with a morbid fear of heights.
While scaling mountains of any height or incline wouldn’t exactly be the most leisurely of feats, the view of the surrounding Ilocos Sur landscape makes it all utterly worthwhile. Bantay Abot hill is situated directly across the coast, causing a wraparound side shore breeze. Such wind conditions are perfect for sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and cruising on a hobie cat. If your taste for outdoor adventure is of the more aerial sort, check with the camp if it’s a good day for paragliding. First timers and amateurs can experience the joy of flying off a cliff over Ilocos Sur’s glorious landscape in tandem for a modest price of Php2,500.
Other activities include 4×4 tours across sand dunes that lead all the way down to the Narvacan River, and a zipline.
